Dr Mim Fox is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Wollongong and the Academic Program Director for the Masters of Social Work (Qualifying). Mim has a practice background in health social work, specialising clinically in death and dying in acute and palliative settings, and has taught and supervised social work students in field education for over 20 years. Collaboration with practitioners in the field has included the development of collaborative research partnerships, co-design of social work curriculum, field education opportunities and practitioner research capacity building. Mim also researches and publishes in the articulation and translation of practice knowledge, particularly with digital technologies and in her spare time co-hosts the Social Work Stories Podcast, a podcast that showcases, analyses and debriefs the everyday experiences of social work practitioners.

Dr Ben Joseph is a lecturer in social work and the academic programs advisor for the bachelor of social work at western sydney university. While much of Ben’s social work practice has centred on community mental health and case work in the ageing and disabilities sector, of late he’s focused on community development, group work, and mentoring interventions with men & Boys in the western sydney region. Ben also hosts social work stories sister podcast - social work discoveries.
