A podcast that seeks to connect, educate and inspire social workers. Social Work Stories launched in 2018 and provides a forum for social workers to share their practice wisdom and expertise. The podcast utilises ‘case study walks’ which consist of a practitioner recounting a pivotal case that they have worked on to elicit practice wisdom and professional lessons. Once aired these stories are then discussed and analysed by our veteran social work practitioners - Elisabeth Murphy & Dr Mim Fox. 

Stories have power and the sharing of stories helps to create a larger and more connected social work tribe. Social work is often referred to as ‘invisible’ work. Practitioners often work alone and may engage in work that isn’t polite enough for dinner table conversations. Social Work Stories seeks to connect social workers and their experiences through the sharing and unpacking of stories.
